This is a remote position. Hospitality Talents is a leading recruitment agency specializing in connecting top-tier hospitality professionals with prestigious employers. Our client, a leading hotel operator in Belgium, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager Belgium to lead technical operations and maintenance activities across their hotel portfolio in Belgium. This role combines strategic maintenance management with a practical, hands-on approach to daily maintenance needs and renovation projects. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Management: - Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of all hotel facilities (HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety, building automation). - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospitality industry standards. - Manage maintenance and investment budgets. Renovation Projects: - Lead and monitor renovation projects from planning to handover. - Collaborate with contractors, architects, and internal teams to minimize operational disruptions. - Guarantee timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Team Leadership: - Manage and mentor the technical teams (in-house and external) across the different locations. - Organize work schedules and prioritize tasks based on operational needs. - Train and develop team members. Reporting & Collaboration: - Provide daily/weekly reporting on maintenance activities, projects, and critical issues. - Collaborate with General Managers and Asset Management teams to align technical operations with business objectives. Requirements Profile - Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager, Technical Manager, or Maintenance Supervisor in hotels or facility management. - Strong technical background: HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation. - Experience with renovation projects (from planning to execution). - Leadership skills: experience in managing technical teams and external partners. - Hands-on mentality and strong problem-solving skills. - Flexibility: willingness to travel daily between Ghent, Antwerp, and Brussels. - Languages: Fluent Dutch/French and English.
